Role and ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will advise clients on employment law issues, draft employment contracts, termination letters, and other related documents. They will also assist clients in ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations.
- Advise clients on employment-related matters, including hiring, employee compensation, discipline, terminations, severance packages, and reductions in workforce.
- Draft employment contracts, termination letters, and other employment-related documents.
- Assist clients in ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations.
- Represent clients at the Superior Court of Justice, Ontario Human Rights Tribunal, Canadian Human Rights Tribunal, mediations, labour board hearings, government commissions, and tribunals.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- 8+ years' experience as an Employment Lawyer in private practice or in-house.
- Experience dealing with employment law issues across Canada.
- Corporate Law knowledge.
- Called to the bar in Ontario.
- Ability to work in French, while not critical, would be an asset.
- Knowledge of Immigration Law is an asset.

Estimated Salary Range$120,000 - $180,000 per year, based on experience and location.
