Expert Employment Lawyer for Dynamic British Columbia Team

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Employment Lawyer to join our team in British Columbia. As a key member of our employment law practice, you will be responsible for providing expert advice on employment-related matters, drafting employment contracts and policies, and representing clients in employment disputes.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in employment law, excellent analytical and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues. A strong understanding of Canadian employment law is essential, particularly in relation to hiring, employee compensation, discipline, terminations, and severance packages.
Responsibilities- Advise clients on employment-related matters, including hiring, employee compensation, discipline, terminations, and severance packages.
- Draft employment contracts, termination letters, employment policies and procedures, and other employment-related documents.
- Represent clients in employment disputes, including wrongful dismissal actions and human rights complaints.
- Assist clients in ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations.
- 8+ years' experience as an Employment Lawyer in private practice or in-house.
- Experience dealing with employment law issues across Canada.
- Corporate Law experience/knowledge.
- Ability to work in French, while not critical, would be an asset.
- Knowledge of Immigration Law is an asset.
We offer a competitive salary range of $140,000 - $200,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for professional growth and development.
