**Job Summary**

The Government of Northwest Territories is seeking a highly skilled Information Systems Contracts Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance on contracts and agreements related to information systems.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage contracts and vendors for Software as a Service (SaaS) services, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
  • Provide expert advice and coordination on financial submissions, including Forced Growth, Variance Reports, and Year End Financial closure activities.
  • Maintain all Information Systems Shared Services Operations and Maintenance (O&M) contracts and agreements.
  • Engage in the contracting and agreement process for new O&M initiatives.
  • Draft various procurement documentation, including requests for proposals, tenders, contracts, agreements, and communication documents.
  • Work with minimal direction or supervision, requiring expert knowledge in the business area.
  • Review and validate budgets through coordination of administrative and budgetary control systems.

Requirements:

  • A related bachelor's degree.
  • Two (2) years of experience in contracting and procurement.
