We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Psychiatric Nurse to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing psychiatric nursing care services to patients and coordinating care with other healthcare professionals.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Assessing patients' mental health needs and developing individualized care plans
  • Providing direct care to patients, including medication administration and wound care
  • Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care
  • Communicating effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
  • Participating in quality improvement activities to enhance patient care and outcomes

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A diploma or degree in nursing from an accredited institution
  • Current registration as a Registered Psychiatric Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of mental health legislation and government policies
