Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Territory Sales Manager to join our team at JRoss Recruiters. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth and customer satisfaction in their designated territory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve year-over-year sales growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Provide product knowledge training to retailers and ensure they are merchandised to standard.
  • Communicate marketing direction and merchandise information to store sales and management teams.
  • Build strong business relationships with retail store staff.
  • Analyze territory growth and profit-improvement opportunities and develop sales plans to enhance market share and profitability.
  • Conduct sales associate training and institute floor sales incentive programs to maximize sales time commitment.
  • Resolve customer service problems and work with production personnel to ensure high levels of service.
  • Regularly review territory performance and identify opportunities to enhance share and profits.
  • Utilize sales training tools to implement a shared product knowledge training program.
  • Provide continuous product knowledge support virtually via phone, video conference, and email.
  • Conduct store visits and undertake customer service, warranty claims as required.
  • Manage territory spiffs, contests, or other business incentive programs.
  • Ability to travel within the designated territory boundaries and regionally, nationally, and internationally.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years business-related experience in a B2B Sales or Account Manager role.
  • No less than 5 years success as a Sales Hunter.
  • University Degree.
  • Ability to travel overnight and own a reliable vehicle.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Teams, and Outlook.
  • Ability to work independently and be self-motivated, self-directed, and self-managed.
  • Ability to analyze financial data and present to clients in educational and business case formats.
