About the Role

This is an exceptional opportunity for a top sales performer to join our team at Sales Talent Agency Inc. as a Territory Sales Manager. Our client is a highly successful service-based company operating in Canada's transportation and industrial sectors, with a strong presence in construction, oil and gas, mining, and agriculture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prospect for new leads and client accounts in the industrial sector, focusing on transportation and construction companies.
  • Maintain relationships with existing clients and solicit purchase orders/contracts in the assigned territory, ensuring a strong margin on sales.
  • Network at tradeshows, events, and corporate functions to establish new connections and opportunities.
  • Develop and present proposals and presentations to C-suite decision makers, showcasing expertise and building trust.
  • Estimate and respond to tenders in a timely and professional manner.
  • Meet and exceed sales goals and targets set by management, while maintaining accurate data on pricing, sales, and activity reports.
  • Build and expand the Vancouver territory, focusing on the Burnaby to Kelowna area, in a 60-70% hunting/30-40% farming position.
Requirements
  • A strong background in sales, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a service-based industry.
  • A proven track record of success as a top performer, with awards, recognition, or sales numbers to demonstrate expertise.
  • A solid understanding of consultative, solution, and challenger selling techniques.
  • An existing client network with a strong presence in the industrial sector, particularly in construction, industrial, trucking, or manufacturing.
  • Experience in hunting for new accounts from cold leads and closing them to repeat business.
  • Strong tenure in previous roles, with a focus on strategic account management.
Compensation and Benefits
  • A highly competitive base salary, plus lucrative commissions.
  • Total compensation: $120,000 - $130,000+.
