Bilingual Sales and Customer Service Representative

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and bilingual Sales and Customer Service Associate to join our Travel Insurance Operations team at Intact Financial Corporation.
This is a full-time position available in our office, requiring 35 hours of work per week. The successful candidate will be required to work rotating shifts, including days, evenings, and Saturdays.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer phone calls and provide exceptional customer service to clients in a fast-paced environment.
- Prepare quotes and sell travel insurance to new clients, while serving existing clients with insightful and helpful advice.
- Process insurance transactions in accordance with underwriting and compliance guidelines to meet quality expectations.
- Use established procedures in a computerized environment to obtain and maintain provincial licenses.
Requirements
- High school diploma or its Canadian equivalent.
- Bilingualism (English-French) is mandatory, requiring regular communication with English and French-speaking clients.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work comfortably in a multitasking environment with attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts.
- Experience in the travel industry is an asset.
- No work experience in Canada is required, but authorization to work in Canada is necessary.
