Job Summary

China Steel Inc. is seeking a skilled Welder and Fabricator to join our team. As a key member of our manufacturing department, you will be responsible for interpreting welding process specifications, operating manual or semi-automatic welding equipment, and ensuring that welds meet standards and specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret welding process specifications and blueprints to ensure accurate execution
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment, including gas metal arc welding (GMAW)
  • Examine welds and ensure they meet standards and specifications
  • Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts, and tables
  • Fabricate and assemble components and machine parts to close tolerance
  • Document and report deviations from specifications and tolerances
  • Verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments
Requirements
  • Education: Other trades certificate or diploma
  • Experience: Experience an asset
  • or equivalent experience
