District Operations Coordinator

We are seeking a proactive and enthusiastic individual who is eager to learn and take on day-to-day operational support responsibilities for our district retail offices.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

  • Assist District Managers with daily operations.
  • Travel to office locations to train staff, ensure client standards, set up computer equipment, and install marketing/signage.
  • Recruit, interview, hire, and onboard talent.
  • Monitor and adjust office and staffing schedules as necessary.
  • Coordinate office setup and shutdown.
  • Support training and development initiatives.
  • Maintain asset management inventory, process invoice payments, and manage petty cash.
  • Ensure compliance with H&R Block policies, procedures, and relevant legislation.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years retail or customer-oriented experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment, particularly during Tax Season.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Ability to set up workstation computers and work with software packages.
  • Capable of working independently with little supervision.
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills; additional languages an asset.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and travel to multiple offices.
  • Valid driver's license, insurance, vehicle registration, and reliable vehicle required.
