Operational Support Specialist

District Operations Coordinator
We are seeking a proactive and enthusiastic individual who is eager to learn and take on day-to-day operational support responsibilities for our district retail offices.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
- Assist District Managers with daily operations.
- Travel to office locations to train staff, ensure client standards, set up computer equipment, and install marketing/signage.
- Recruit, interview, hire, and onboard talent.
- Monitor and adjust office and staffing schedules as necessary.
- Coordinate office setup and shutdown.
- Support training and development initiatives.
- Maintain asset management inventory, process invoice payments, and manage petty cash.
- Ensure compliance with H&R Block policies, procedures, and relevant legislation.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years retail or customer-oriented experience.
- Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment, particularly during Tax Season.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Ability to set up workstation computers and work with software packages.
- Capable of working independently with little supervision.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills; additional languages an asset.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and travel to multiple offices.
- Valid driver's license, insurance, vehicle registration, and reliable vehicle required.
