Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Resident Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our residential properties, ensuring that they are well-maintained and that our residents are satisfied with their living experience.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development and Marketing:
- Develop and implement strategies to attract new residents and retain existing ones.
- Negotiate and approve rental or lease agreements on behalf of the company.
- Post rental ads to attract new residents and ensure that our properties are well-represented in the market.
- Respond to resident inquiries and resolve any issues in a timely and professional manner.
Property Repair and Maintenance:
- Coordinate with our maintenance staff to ensure that our properties are well-maintained and that any repairs or renovations are completed in a timely manner.
- Manage resident maintenance requests and ensure that they are addressed promptly.
- Inspect properties regularly to identify any maintenance or repair needs.
Upkeep and Area Maintenance:
- Oversee the maintenance of our properties, including cleaning, garbage removal, landscaping, and snow removal.
- Ensure that our properties are well-maintained and that our residents are satisfied with their living experience.
Administrative Duties:
- Manage resident payments and administer damage deposits.
- Utilize our property management system to record transactions and run operational reports.
- Receive and process supplies and paperwork.
Other Duties:
- Attend training and meetings with our head office team.
- Supervise staff and service providers to ensure that our properties are well-maintained and that our residents are satisfied.
Requirements
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Resident Manager who has a strong background in property management and customer service. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
