Resident Property Manager

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Resident Manager to join our team at Mainstreet Equity Corporation. As a Resident Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our residential properties, ensuring that our residents receive exceptional service and that our properties are well-maintained.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate new business opportunities and conduct unit showings with prospective tenants.
- Negotiate or approve rental or lease agreements on behalf of the company.
- Post rental ads to attract new tenants and ensure that residents' issues are addressed promptly.
- Meet and interact with tenants in a friendly and professional manner.
- Coordinate with regional manager and maintenance staff to implement effective capital improvement plans.
- Manage tenant maintenance requests and ensure timely completion.
- Ensure upkeep and regular maintenance of firefighting and security equipment and systems.
- Manage and schedule staff required for area maintenance, cleaning, garbage removal, landscaping, etc.
- Ensure snow and ice removal, salting of entrances, walkways, rooftop accesses, etc.
- Administer rental payments and damage deposits, and utilize Yardi system to record transactions and run operational reports.
- Perform other duties as assigned by senior management.
