Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Resident Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our residential properties, ensuring that they are well-maintained and that our residents are satisfied with their living experience.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development and Marketing
- Develop and implement strategies to attract new residents and retain existing ones.
- Negotiate and approve rental or lease agreements on behalf of the company.
- Post rental ads to attract new residents and ensure that our properties are well-represented in the market.
- Respond to resident inquiries and resolve any issues in a timely and professional manner.
Property Repair and Maintenance
- Coordinate with maintenance staff to implement effective capital improvement plans.
- Monitor progress of repairs, maintenance, and renovations carried out on our properties.
- Manage resident maintenance requests and ensure that they are addressed in a timely manner.
- Ensure that our properties are well-maintained and that our residents are satisfied with the condition of their homes.
Upkeep and Area Maintenance
- Manage and schedule staff required for area maintenance, cleaning, garbage removal, landscaping, and other tasks.
- Ensure that our properties are clean and well-maintained, including common areas and amenities.
- Manage the handling and disposal of garbage and recycling bins.
- Ensure that our properties are well-maintained and that our residents are satisfied with the condition of their homes.
Administrative Duties
- Ensure timely collection and deposits of rental payments and administer damage deposits.
- Utilize our property management system to record transactions and run operational reports.
- Receive supplies and send paperwork to our head office.
Other Duties
- Attend training and meetings with our head office and work with utility companies, phone companies, and contractors to ensure that our properties are well-maintained.
- Supervise staff, service providers, and contractors to ensure that our properties are well-maintained and that our residents are satisfied with their living experience.
Requirements
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Resident Manager who has a strong background in property management and customer service. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
