Job Title: Building Caretaker

Central Protection Services Inc. is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Building Caretaker to join our team. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our buildings.

Responsibilities:
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, scrub, and wax hallways, floors, and stairs to ensure a clean and safe environment.
  • Waste Management: Empty trash cans and other waste containers to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Repairs and Maintenance: Contact contractors for repairs and maintenance of the establishment to ensure that all facilities are in good working condition.
  • Safety and Security: Perform safety and security checks to ensure the well-being of our staff and visitors.
  • Supervision: Supervise other workers to ensure that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Heavy Lifting: Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Routine Maintenance: Perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair to maintain the appearance and integrity of our buildings.
Requirements:
  • Dependability: Demonstrate dependability and reliability in your work to ensure that tasks are completed on time.
  • Will Train: Be willing to learn and train to perform the duties of the job.
  • Permanent Position: This is a permanent position with a regular schedule of 30 hours per week.
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication in this role.
