Key Responsibilities- Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, scrub, and wax hallways, floors, and stairs to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Waste Management: Empty trash cans and other waste containers to prevent litter and maintain a clean facility.
- Repairs and Maintenance: Contact contractors for repairs and maintenance of the establishment, ensuring that all issues are addressed promptly.
- Safety and Security: Perform safety and security checks to ensure the well-being of our staff and visitors.
- Supervision: Supervise other workers to ensure that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Heavy Lifting: Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies as needed.
- Routine Maintenance: Perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair to maintain the facility's appearance.
- Dependability: Demonstrate dependability and reliability in completing tasks and meeting deadlines.
- Language: Fluency in English is required, with proficiency in Arabic, Hindi, Urdu, and Punjabi an asset.
- Experience: Willingness to train and learn new skills, with a permanent position available.
- Work Schedule: 30 hours per week, with minimal supervision required.
