Building Maintenance Worker

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Building Maintenance Worker to join our team at Central Protection Services Inc. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our buildings.
Key Responsibilities- Sweeping and Cleaning: Sweep, mop, scrub, and wax hallways, floors, and stairs to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Waste Management: Empty trash cans and other waste containers to prevent litter and maintain a clean workspace.
- Repairs and Maintenance: Contact contractors for repairs and maintenance of the establishment, ensuring that all issues are addressed promptly.
- Safety and Security: Perform regular safety and security checks to identify potential hazards and take corrective action.
- Supervision: Supervise other workers to ensure that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Heavy Lifting: Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies as needed.
- Routine Maintenance: Perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair to maintain the appearance and integrity of our buildings.
- Dependability: Demonstrate dependability and reliability in your work, ensuring that tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.
- Language: Fluency in English is required, with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and management.
- Work Schedule: Work a regular 30-hour per week schedule, with flexibility to adapt to changing needs.
