Project Manager - Senior Leader

As a seasoned Project Manager at Pomerleau Construction, you will oversee large-scale building and infrastructure projects, collaborating closely with client groups and subcontractors. Your expertise will drive project success and team collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with team members, trade partners, and clients to achieve project goals.
  • Drive the construction schedule, ensuring completion dates and milestones are met.
  • Apply problem-solving skills to recommend innovative methods, increasing effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with Pomerleau's Quality Program.
  • Coordinate trade partner activities and manage project budgets, costs, and purchasing.
  • Share knowledge and mentor project team members.
  • Communicate project status and updates.
  • Minimize project risk through expert risk management.
  • Compile and complete companywide project reports.
  • Lead Health, Safety, and Environmental Protection on the project.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years' Project Management experience in civil & infrastructure construction.
  • University Degree/Technology Diploma in Engineering or equivalent.
  • Proven track record of project success and team collaboration.
  • Outstanding leadership and organizational skills.
  • Strong knowledge of construction and project methodologies, financial management, and building codes.
  • Role model status for health and safety and quality.
  • Passion for developing and executing project schedules.
  • Good computer skills and experience with scheduling software.
