About the Role

We are seeking an experienced construction professional to join our team as a Site Supervisor - Construction. In this key role, you will be responsible for overseeing construction operations, ensuring compliance with project timelines, and maintaining a safe working environment.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Manage Project Drawings – Review and understand project drawings, scope of work, and contractual obligations to effectively manage construction operations.
  2. Site Maintenance – Maintain a clean, organized, and professional job site by ensuring proper housekeeping, waste management, and recycling efforts.
  3. Project Scheduling – Track and manage the project schedule, oversee subcontractor performance, and collaborate with the PM for schedule updates.
  4. Budget Oversight – Monitor project costs and identify opportunities to reduce expenses without compromising quality or safety.
  5. Change Management – Obtain written client approval before proceeding with any additional work beyond the original scope.
  6. Drawing & Documentation Updates – Maintain updated project drawings and provide feedback on shop drawings.
  7. On-Site Coordination – Direct suppliers and subcontractors to ensure seamless site operations.
  8. Safety Compliance – Enforce Occupational Health and Safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
  9. Invoicing – Review and approve invoices within two days of receipt.
  10. Daily Reporting – Complete daily logs, including manpower tracking, timecards, and relevant notes.
  11. Personnel Management – Hire, supervise, and direct on-site personnel while adhering to union agreements.
  12. Worker Training & Certification – Ensure all workers are fully trained and competent, with valid WHMIS and Working at Heights certifications.
  13. Safety Board Maintenance – Display essential safety information on the site Safety Board.
