About the Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Program Manager to join our team at Christie Digital Systems Canada Inc. This is a hybrid position based in Kitchener, ON.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, outlining objectives, scope, timelines, and resource allocation.
  • Assemble and lead cross-functional teams to execute projects, ensuring successful delivery.
  • Manage project budgets, including cost estimation, resource allocation, and tracking expenses to maintain project profitability.
  • Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate and resolve them, preventing project delays.
  • Maintain clear and open communication with project stakeholders, including team members and upper management, providing regular project updates.
  • Ensure adherence to relevant industry standards, safety regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Manage equipment, materials, and other resources essential to project success.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Ensure that final products or systems meet or exceed customer expectations.
Qualifications & Experience
  • A University degree in a related field with 4+ years of experience in program management within a technical setting.
  • A successful track record of bringing products from concept to production.
  • Proven experience in developing and managing schedules and budgets.
  • Collaborative work experience across diverse teams, especially in engineering, supply chain, and product management.
  • Skilled in working with contractors and suppliers to ensure program success.
  • Capability to assess risks, comprehend potential impacts, and implement necessary corrective measures.
  • Strong problem-solving acumen and the ability to devise creative solutions.
  • Proficiency in organizing and prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills coupled with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Strong skills in negotiation, management, mentoring, and coaching, financial analysis.
