Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Financial Reporting Strategist to lead our External Disclosures team. In this role, you will develop and implement financial reporting strategies that drive business growth, improve stakeholder engagement, and enhance our company's reputation.

About the Role

This is a key position within our finance department, responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, maintaining accurate and transparent financial reporting, and providing strategic counsel to senior leaders.

You will be responsible for leading a team of experts in financial reporting, including preparation of annual reports, quarterly reports, and other external disclosures. Your expertise will be critical in communicating our financial story to investors, analysts, and other stakeholders.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement financial reporting strategies that align with our business goals
  • Lead a team of experts in financial reporting, including preparation of annual reports, quarterly reports, and other external disclosures
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including securities law disclosure requirements
  • Provide strategic counsel to senior leaders on financial reporting matters
  • Communicate financial results and developments to investors, analysts, and other stakeholders
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in financial reporting, including leadership roles
  • Chartered Professional Accountant designation
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
