About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated Tax Planning Specialist to join our Enterprise Tax practice. This role provides an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong passion for taxation to grow and develop their skills in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct research and analysis on a wide range of tax issues, including structuring domestic and international investments.
- Prepare corporate, partnership, trust, and personal tax returns.
- Draft technical memos, instruction letters to legal counsel, and client reporting letters for senior staff review.
- Develop income tax models.
- Review corporate and personal tax returns.
- Assist in reviewing tax provisions for larger audit and non-audit clients.
- Interact with clients and other team members.
- Support senior staff members in all aspects of corporate tax initiatives.
Requirements
- A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a public accounting firm.
- Candidates must have passed the CFE (or plan to write it in 2024) and be working towards obtaining a CPA designation.
- Enrollment or willingness to enroll in the In-Depth tax course is required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated leadership and team building skills.
- Strong time-management abilities and self-motivation.
- Able to handle multiple priorities effectively.
- Keen interest in assisting with tax planning strategies for various clients.
- Willingness to learn new skills by researching a wide variety of tax issues.
- Excellent client service skills with an aptitude for understanding client businesses and maintaining strong relationships.

Compensation
The estimated annual salary for this role is $85,000 - $110,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
