Manager, Device Services and Service Continuity

Interior Health Authority is seeking an experienced Manager, Device Services and Service Continuity to lead our team in Kelowna. As a key member of our Digital Health leadership team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality technology, application, and peripheral support for our regional device services function.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the Technology Refresh Program (TRP) and Asset Acquisitions, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of new equipment and assets.
- Oversee the Managed Print Services (MPS) relationship, ensuring Interior Health obtains value for money and vendors meet service level agreements.
- Manage multiple department operational and capital budgets, approving expenditures, identifying budget discrepancies, and allocating funds.
- Provide leadership in the design and development of Digital Health Business Continuity Services, ensuring regular review and improvement of business continuity plans.
- Ensure the ongoing management and maintenance of negotiated vendor contracts, leading RFPs, evaluations, and vendor selection.
- Participate in internal and external committees, representing Interior Health as a decision maker on external opportunities.
- Manage, recruit, allocate, and hire/supervise staff, conducting performance appraisals and evaluations.
- Communicate with senior management regarding status affecting logistics, acquisition, and procurement activities.
- Accountable for project priorities, ensuring successful implementation of projects in accordance with Interior Health project management standards.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in IT services and asset management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior management, vendors, and staff.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
- Experience with budget management, contract negotiation, and vendor management.
- Knowledge of Digital Health business continuity principles and practices.
