Job Summary

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Outside Sales Representative to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for generating profitable sales from the rental of our fleet of equipment, specifically large generators, air compressors, temperature control, and desiccant dehumidifiers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prospect and develop new customers in the commercial market segment
  • Maintain positive customer relationships and visit customers on a regular basis
  • Participate in strategic entertainment of customers and coordinate with operations personnel regarding new equipment and rental programs
  • Maintain accurate and detailed customer records
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the manager
Requirements
  • Direct sales and/or project management experience within the equipment industry required
  • Power generation and testing equipment background highly desirable
  • Strong project management, new business development, and customer retention skills a must
  • Ability to effectively give presentations and business reviews to management
