Job Summary

We are seeking an Outside Sales Representative - Commercial Power to join our team. This role will be responsible for generating profitable sales from the rental of our fleet of equipment, specifically large generators, air compressors, temperature control, and desiccant dehumidifiers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect and develop new customers in the commercial market segment
  • Maintain positive customer relations and visit customers on a regular basis
  • Participate in strategic entertainment of customers and maintain accurate and detailed customer records
  • Coordinate with operations personnel regarding new equipment, equipment availability, and rental programs
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the manager

Requirements

  • Direct sales and/or project management experience within the equipment industry required
  • Power generation and testing equipment background highly desirable
  • Strong project management, new business development, and customer retention skills a must
  • Ability to effectively give presentations and business reviews to management

Physical Demands

The successful candidate must be able to bend, squat, crouch, and/or reach and lift up to 25 pounds or more, as required by the job. Some duties may require driving for long periods of time, loading and unloading heavy equipment, performing work in extreme weather conditions, and/or night and weekend work.
