About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at MOSSAH Foods Corp. as a key member of our restaurant operations team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, including food preparation, portioning, and presentation.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure a high level of quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Inventory and Supply Management
    • Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain optimal inventory levels and minimize waste.
    • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform purchasing decisions.
  • Customer Service and Quality Control
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards by conducting regular quality checks and addressing customer complaints or concerns.
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure efficient service delivery.
  • Reporting and Administration
    • Prepare and submit reports on sales, inventory, and customer feedback to inform business decisions.
    • Maintain accurate records of employee performance, training, and development.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a food service management role.
    • Other trades certificate or diploma in a related field.
  • Work Environment and Physical Demands
    • Fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
    • Standing for extended periods and attention to detail required.
  • Personal Suitability
    • Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, and team player.
    • Initiative, dependability, and ability to work under pressure.
