Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Dairy Queen. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food meets the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, including training and development.
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
    • Requisition food and kitchen supplies, and manage inventory levels.
  • Customer Service
    • Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
    • Ensure that customers receive exceptional service and that their needs are met.
  • Reporting and Administration
    • Prepare and submit reports on sales, inventory, and customer feedback.
    • Manage employee records, including performance evaluations and training plans.
Requirements
  • Education
    • College or CEGEP diploma in a related field, such as hospitality or business administration.
  • Experience
    • At least 1 year of experience in a food service supervisory role, or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Skills
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
    • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.
Work Environment

The Food Service Supervisor will work in a fast-paced restaurant environment, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. The position requires the ability to lift up to 25 pounds and to work in a team environment.

Language

The primary language of work is English.

Work Hours

The Food Service Supervisor will work 35 hours per week, with a regular schedule of Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm.
