Senior Business Development Manager
About the Role:
The Senior Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving growth in Aggregates volume, price, and margin across Dufferin Aggregates service areas. This includes developing and executing commercial strategies to achieve profitable sales and effective execution of strategy for assigned lines of business.
Responsibilities:
- Develop annual commercial strategy, identify risk, and develop new opportunities.
- Oversee customer service team to ensure customer expectations are met.
- Communicate marketing strategy to internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure OH&S standards and performance objectives/targets are met by employees.
- Motivate and provide direction to the sales organization.
Requirements:
- Post-secondary degree with a focus on business or economics and 10+ years of experience in the Aggregates industry.
- 5+ years of experience managing a cross-functional team and/or sales organization within a matrix-driven environment.
- Ability to develop, maintain, and communicate appropriate metrics, interpret trends, and adjust strategies as needed.
- Experience operating in and influencing at a strategic level.
- Customer-focused and adaptable with superb communication skills.
- Excellent computer skills – Excel, PowerPoint, Word.
Compensation Package:
We offer an attractive compensation package including a salary of $125,000 - $170,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits such as health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
