Loss Prevention Physical Security Expert

At London Drugs Limited, we are seeking a skilled Loss Prevention Physical Security Specialist to join our team in Richmond, BC.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for protecting company assets and reducing losses by conducting pinning and servicing of locks, maintaining key records and system logs, and administering access credentials.
This role requires strong analytical, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills, as well as the ability to work under strict confidentiality and respond effectively in emergency situations.
Key Responsibilities- Protect company assets and reduce losses through technical expertise and administration of security systems.
- Conduct pinning and servicing of locks and cutting of keys in the workshop or on-site.
- Maintain accurate records of keys, locking systems, and system logs.
- Administer access control and access requests for employees and vendors.
- Process internal security clearances and monitor access control systems.
- Maintain physical security devices and hardware, including keys, display security devices, locks, cash boxes, and security signage.
- Recommend security solutions to reduce risk and loss.
- Demonstrated analytical, interpersonal, communication, and critical thinking skills.
- Demonstrated organizational and leadership skills.
- Demonstrated conflict management and negotiation skills.
- Ability to cooperate, delegate, and follow-up effectively.
- Ability to stay calm and respond with good judgment in emergency situations.
- Ability to work under strict confidentiality.
- Provincial security worker license, with locking or security systems installer, locksmith or locksmith under supervision required.
- Formal locksmithing and security systems technical education or equivalent experience preferred.

The estimated salary range for this role is $80,000 - $120,000 per year, based on job-related experience, knowledge, and education.
