Job Summary

Nature's Path Foods is seeking a highly skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our team. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for operating a forklift in a safe and efficient manner, ensuring the smooth operation of our packaging lines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate a forklift in accordance with plant forklift rules and regulations.
  • Perform safety checks on the forklift and log any discrepancies.
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment for all team members.
  • Follow all aspects of the Lock Out Tag Out program.
  • Ensure continuous production operation of packaging lines and follow Nature's Path's safety, quality, and production procedures.
  • Coordinate with Quality Assurance to ensure that all incoming and outgoing products meet quality standards.
  • Comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's) and Lean Initiatives as set forth by management.
  • Ensure that all finished goods are properly labeled and staged for shipping.
  • Maintain an accurate and detailed operator's log.

Requirements

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a forklift operator.
  • Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's) and Lean Initiatives.
