About the RoleWe are seeking a highly experienced and skilled tax professional to join our Investment Tax team. As a Managing Director, Investment Tax, you will be responsible for providing tax support to our investment teams, identifying and mitigating tax risks, and developing and implementing tax strategies that align with our investment objectives.
You will work closely with our investment teams, tax advisors, and other stakeholders to ensure that our investments are made with a deep understanding of the tax implications. You will also be responsible for monitoring changes in tax laws and regulations and communicating these changes to our stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Provide tax support to our investment teams, including identifying and mitigating tax risks and developing and implementing tax strategies
- Work closely with our investment teams, tax advisors, and other stakeholders to ensure that our investments are made with a deep understanding of the tax implications
- Monitor changes in tax laws and regulations and communicate these changes to our stakeholders
- Develop and maintain relationships with key individuals across Finance, Operations, Legal, Public Affairs, and Communications
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure the ongoing tax management of our operations meets our standards
We are looking for a highly experienced and skilled tax professional with a minimum of 10 years of tax experience, including significant international and/or mergers and acquisitions tax experience. You should have a proven track record of developing and implementing tax strategies that align with investment objectives and a deep understanding of tax laws and regulations.
You should also have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as accounting or finance, is required. A professional designation, such as a Chartered Accountant (CA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA), is an asset.
