We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Instructor for Special Programs to join our team at Families of Alberta for Conductive Education.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality instruction and support to individuals with physical disabilities, focusing on rehabilitation, education, and independence. This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients and contribute to our organization's mission.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess clients' physical limitations, orientation abilities, and mobility to develop personalized rehabilitation plans.
- Design and implement specialized therapy programs to enhance movement, musculoskeletal functioning, and performance in sports, work, and recreation.
- Supervise office and volunteer staff, as well as professional and support staff, to ensure seamless delivery of services.
- Maintain accurate records and participate in fundraising activities to support our organization's goals.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Rehabilitation or Special Education Certificate.
- Valid driver's licence and vulnerable sector check.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
