We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Instructor for Special Programs to join our team at Families of Alberta for Conductive Education.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality instruction and support to individuals with physical disabilities, focusing on rehabilitation, education, and independence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess clients' physical limitations, orientation abilities, and mobility to develop personalized rehabilitation plans.
  • Design and implement specialized therapy programs to enhance movement, musculoskeletal functioning, and performance in sports, work, and recreation.
  • Supervise office and volunteer staff, as well as professional and support staff and students.
  • Maintain accurate records and participate in fundraising activities.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Rehabilitation or Special Education Certificate.
  • Valid driver's licence and vulnerable sector check.
  • Experience working with individuals with physical disabilities an asset.
