Job Title: Awake Overnight Support Staff - Enviros WSA

Job Summary:

Enviros WSA is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Awake Overnight Support Staff to join our team at ExCel Discovery. As a key member of our support staff, you will play a vital role in providing a safe and supportive environment for youth in our care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide trauma-informed care and support to residents in a live-in group setting.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure the well-being and safety of residents.
  • Ensure timely completion and submission of government, justice, and daily paperwork.
  • Respond to crisis situations and adhere to safety protocols.
  • Maintain regular house expectations, including meal preparation, cleaning, and sanitizing.
  • Attend regular staff meetings and training sessions as required.

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary education in Criminal Justice or Human Services related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in youth justice, child and youth care, social work, or human services.
  • Knowledge of experiential learning, strength-based practice, and trauma-informed care.
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license and a clean driver's abstract.
  • Standard First Aid and CPR Level C certification.
  • Police Record Check with Vulnerable sector check and Child Intervention Check.
