Job Title: Awake Overnight Youth Support Worker

Job Summary:

Enviros WSA is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Youth Support Worker to join our ExCel Discovery Program team. As an Awake Overnight Youth Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting the safety and well-being of our youth residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide trauma-informed care and support to residents in a live-in group setting.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure the successful reintegration of youth into the community.
  • Ensure timely completion and submission of government, justice, and daily paperwork.
  • Crisis intervention and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Maintain regular house expectations, including meal preparation, cleaning, and sanitizing.
  • Attend regular staff meetings and additional training as required.

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary education in Criminal Justice or Human Services related field.
  • 1-2 years of youth justice, child and youth care, social work, or human services experience is considered an asset.
  • New graduates will be considered.
  • Knowledge of experiential learning, strength-based practice, and trauma-informed care.
