Job Summary:

Enviros WSA is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Youth Support Worker to join our team in a live-in group setting. As a Youth Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting the safety and well-being of youth in our care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to residents through a trauma-informed care perspective
  • Maintain regular house expectations, including meal preparation, cleaning, and sanitizing
  • Attend regular staff meetings and additional training as required
  • Collaborate with the team to promote a healthy re-integration into the community

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary education in Criminal Justice or Human Services related field
  • ~1-2 years of youth justice, child and youth care, social work or human services experience is considered an asset
  • Knowledge of experiential learning, strength-based practice, and trauma-informed care
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license
  • Child Intervention Check (within six months)
