Police Enforcement Officer

CPKC is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Police Constable.
This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing law enforcement services to the CPKC network.
As a Police Constable, you will be responsible for enforcing federal, provincial, and municipal laws, as well as providing emergency response services and conducting investigations.
In this role, you will work closely with other law enforcement agencies and stakeholders to maintain a safe and secure operating environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enforce laws and regulations to ensure public safety and prevent crime
- Respond to emergency situations and conduct investigations
- Collaborate with other agencies to share information and best practices
- Develop and implement strategies to reduce crime and enhance community safety
- Provide training and guidance to junior officers
Requirements:
- Proficient in law enforcement practices and procedures
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a team environment and adapt to changing situations
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education preferred
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Pass a background check and polygraph test
