Job Title: Street Outreach Worker

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Street Outreach Worker. In this role, you will work with vulnerable populations, providing support and services to those in need.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment, providing administrative and office activities, as well as appraising clients' needs and eligibility for specific services. You will also be responsible for maintaining program statistics and liaising with other social services agencies and health care providers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare reports or case histories
  • Administrative and office activities
  • Appraise clients' needs or eligibility for specific services
  • Maintain program statistics for purposes of evaluation and research
  • Liaise with other social services agencies and health care providers involved with clients
Requirements:
  • College/CEGEP education
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience
  • Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST)
  • Non-violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) Certificate
  • First Aid Certificate
  • CPR Certificate
Work Environment:

This role will involve working in various locations, including shelters for the homeless. You will be required to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
