Job OverviewWe are seeking an organized and methodical Box Office Supervisor to oversee the operations of our Ticket Leader team under the direction of the Manager, Call Centre. This role involves providing premier ticketing services for concert promoters, bands, professional sports teams, arenas, and other venues.
Responsibilities:- Operational Oversight: Supervise on-duty staff for various events at the PNE and Greater Vancouver Area, ensuring seamless Box Office operations and adherence to standards.
- Ticketing Support: Troubleshoot ticketing issues that arise, resolve patron complaints in a professional and polite manner, and ensure secure cash deposits at the end of each shift.
- Crowd Management: Monitor ticket booth crowds and take necessary action to maintain a smooth experience.
- Supply Allocation: Allocate floats, skims, and ticket stock during events, ensuring efficient inventory management.
- Work Environment: Maintain a clean and safe environment for Ticket Office staff.
- Education: Successful completion of Grade 12.
- Experience: 1-2 years of supervisory experience, preferably in event ticketing or a related field.
- Skillset: Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook, as well as the ability to read, write, and speak English for work-related purposes.
- Physical Demands: Ability to walk and stand for extended periods.
- Availability: Willingness to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends.
