Accounting Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join our team at WASTEHAUL TRANSPORT INC.
About the RoleThis is a permanent position requiring 35 hours of work per week. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bookkeeping and financial record-keeping, with excellent organizational and communication skills.
Responsibilities- Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll
- Calculate fixed assets and depreciation
- Maintain general ledgers and financial statements
- Post journal entries
- Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports
- Prepare tax returns
- Prepare trial balance of books
- Reconcile accounts
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in bookkeeping or a related field
- Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
- A competitive salary of approximately $65,000 per year (based on a 35 hour work week)
