Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team at Canadas Best Value Inn. As a key member of our housekeeping department, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our hotel rooms and public areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Housekeeping Activities
    • Oversee the daily cleaning and maintenance of hotel rooms and public areas
    • Assign tasks and responsibilities to housekeeping staff
    • Monitor and maintain housekeeping supplies and equipment
  • Inspect and Maintain Hotel Facilities
    • Conduct regular inspections of hotel rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness and maintenance standards
    • Identify and report any maintenance or repair issues
  • Coordinate with Other Departments
    • Work closely with front desk and maintenance staff to ensure seamless operations
    • Communicate with guests and respond to their needs and concerns
  • Establish Work Schedules
    • Develop and implement efficient work schedules for housekeeping staff
    • Monitor and adjust schedules as needed to ensure optimal productivity
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience
    • Will train
    • or equivalent experience
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
    • Repetitive tasks
    • Physically demanding
    • Standing for extended periods
    • Bending, crouching, kneeling
