About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team at Econo Lodge City Center Inn. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our hotel rooms and public areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hire and Train Staff: Recruit, train, and supervise a team of housekeeping staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to provide exceptional cleaning services.
  • Coordinate Cleaning Operations: Plan and coordinate the daily cleaning schedule, ensuring that all rooms and public areas are cleaned to the highest standards.
  • Inspect and Maintain Standards: Conduct regular inspections to ensure that cleaning standards are met, and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Manage Supplies and Equipment: Order and manage cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring that the housekeeping team has everything they need to do their job effectively.
  • Collaborate with Other Departments: Work closely with other departments, such as front desk and maintenance, to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a housekeeping or cleaning role
  • Language: English
  • Work Schedule: 40 hours per week
