Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team at Canadas Best Value Inn. As a key member of our housekeeping department, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our hotel rooms and public areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Housekeeping Activities
    • Oversee the daily cleaning and maintenance of hotel rooms and public areas
    • Assign tasks and responsibilities to housekeeping staff
    • Monitor and maintain housekeeping supplies and equipment
  • Inspect and Maintain Hotel Facilities
    • Conduct regular inspections of hotel rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness and maintenance standards are met
    • Identify and report any maintenance or repair issues to the maintenance team
  • Coordinate with Other Departments
    • Work closely with the front desk and maintenance teams to ensure seamless operations
    • Communicate with guests and respond to their housekeeping-related concerns
  • Establish Work Schedules and Procedures
    • Develop and implement efficient housekeeping schedules and procedures
    • Monitor and adjust schedules as needed to ensure optimal housekeeping operations
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • Physical Demands
    • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks
    • Ability to lift and move housekeeping supplies and equipment
  • Language and Work Schedule
    • Fluency in English
    • Ability to work a 30-40 hour workweek
