**Job Summary**

The Guest Services Representative (PT) will contribute to the overall success of Coast Hotels by anticipating guest needs and providing friendly, efficient, and superior customer service with every guest interaction. The position is responsible for maintaining a positive front of the house environment while maintaining high internal & external guest service standards at all times.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Provide luggage service upon guest's arrival and departure, and room the guest in a professional manner.
  • Store luggage for guests accurately and efficiently.
  • Deliver morning newspapers, and room service orders when there is no room service ambassador available.
  • Assist valet attendant(s) with parking guest vehicles.
  • Work closely with all members of the Front Desk Team.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of hotel group bookings and scheduled events.
  • Ensure the cleanliness of the Front Desk, lobby, and driveway area.
  • Contribute to a positive guest experience.
  • Assist in arranging transportation (taxi, shuttle, tour bus, etc.) for guests.
  • Read logbook to be informed of day's events.
  • Check for VIP arrivals and deliver VIP amenities as required.
  • Provide recommendations to guests on local sights and attractions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

**Requirements:**

  • Completion of Secondary School.
  • Outgoing, warm, and friendly personality.
  • Clean driver's abstract indicating a safe driving record (Class 5 License).
  • Ability to drive both manual and automatic vehicles.
  • Familiarity with the local area.
  • Demonstrates superior customer service philosophy.
  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exemplifies Coast's core values and enjoys working in a culture of accountability.
  • Able to work a flexible schedule, which includes overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays.
