About This Role

As a key member of the Saks Fifth Avenue team, the Associate Asset Protection Manager plays a critical role in maintaining the integrity of our stores and protecting our assets. Under the direction of the Asset Protection Manager or Assistant General Manager Operations, this position is responsible for managing the Asset Protection staff, monitoring shortage results, and implementing store safety and awareness programs.

Your Responsibilities

  • Train store associates on awareness and Asset Protection policies and procedures.
  • Maintain the integrity of physical inventory by monitoring reports and audits on a daily and monthly basis.
  • Organize and conduct annual store inventory.
  • Develop shortage strategies for merchandise groups, paperwork controls, and shortage awareness.
  • Perform ad hoc responsibilities as needed.

About You

  • You have a minimum of 2 years of Asset Protection experience, preferably in a large volume retail environment.
  • You are certified where applicable by jurisdiction.
  • You have the ability to quickly learn Saks Fifth Avenue standards, procedures, and IT applications.
  • You hold a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience, with Wicklander-Zulawski certification a plus.

Compensation

The starting hourly rate for this position is between $per hour. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include market, skills, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
