About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Asset Protection Investigator to join our team at Compagnie de la Baie d'Hudson. As an Asset Protection Investigator, you will play a critical role in protecting our stores and assets from loss and theft.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough investigations into incidents of loss and theft, gathering evidence and interviewing witnesses as needed.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to prevent loss and theft, including training employees and monitoring store operations.
  • Collaborate with store management and security teams to ensure a safe and secure shopping environment.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in asset protection and loss prevention.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to store employees on asset protection procedures and protocols.
Requirements
  • Valid security license (region/market specific)
  • Strong knowledge of retail procedures and criminal/civil proceedings
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility with schedule (including evenings and weekends)
