AWS Cloud Developer Opportunity in Calgary, AB

CB Canada is currently seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Developer to join their team for a 6-month contract. The successful candidate will be working with the Cloud Enablement team to develop and improve operational practices, procedures, and change management.

About the Role
  • Develop and automate provisioning of services via CloudFormation/CLI
  • Evaluate applications to ensure they meet security and compliance requirements
  • Contribute to the design, architecting, and implementation of cloud-based solutions
  • Develop and improve Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
  • Provide guidance and training to consumers on cloud development best practices
Requirements
  • AWS Associate Architect certification or AWS Associate Developer certification
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in software development, preferably in an agile environment
  • Experience with YAML, Python, and cloud-based development
  • Familiarity with setting up and troubleshooting AWS production environments
Contract Details

The contract duration is estimated at 6 months, with the opportunity to extend based on performance and client needs.

This is a full-time opportunity, and the ideal candidate will be located in Calgary, AB.

Estimated salary for this role is $80,000 - $110,000 CAD per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
