Job Summary

N S Kular Transport Ltd is seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating a semi-trailer truck to transport goods and materials across various routes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Route Planning: Plan or adjust routes based on changing conditions to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional manner.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Oversee the condition of the vehicle, inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment, and perform necessary repairs.
  • Logistics: Load and unload goods, operate and drive straight or articulated trucks, and record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
Requirements
  • Certifications: Hold a valid Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi-trailer trucks) and Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks, and other 2-axle vehicles).
  • Documentation: Maintain a driver logbook, inspection report, and trip reports.
  • Travel: Be willing to travel for extended periods, including overnight trips, and have a valid passport.
Work Environment

The ideal candidate will have excellent judgment, be organized, reliable, and a team player. This is a permanent position with 35 hours of work per week.
