Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and adjust routes based on changing conditions to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions.
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.
  • Oversee the condition of the vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment.
  • Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections and oversee all aspects of vehicle maintenance.
  • Load and unload goods, and ensure the safety and security of cargo.
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
Requirements:
  • Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi-trailer trucks) and Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks, and other 2-axle vehicles).
  • Valid passport and driver's licence.
  • Willingness to travel for extended periods and overnight.
  • Ability to sit for long periods and handle weights up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
