Accounts Payable Clerk Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Accounts Payable Clerk to join our finance team on a part-time basis. As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will be responsible for processing invoices, expense reports, and payment requests accurately and in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process invoices, expense reports, and payment requests with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve discrepancies
  • Communicate with vendors and internal departments regarding invoice and payment inquiries
  • Assist with month-end closing processes as needed
  • Maintain organized electronic and physical files of financial records
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding accounts payable processes

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Clerk or in a similar role
  • Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks, SAP) and MS Excel
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
