Accounts Payable Clerk Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Accounts Payable Clerk to join our finance team on a part-time basis. This role is crucial in ensuring accurate and timely processing of payments to our vendors and suppliers.

The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a commitment to maintaining financial records with integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process invoices, expense reports, and payment requests accurately and in a timely manner
  • Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve discrepancies
  • Communicate with vendors and internal departments regarding invoice and payment inquiries
  • Assist with month-end closing processes as needed
  • Maintain organized electronic and physical files of financial records
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding accounts payable processes

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Clerk or in a similar role
  • Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and MS Excel
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
