Accounting Clerk Job Description

Homewood Health is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Clerk to join our team. As an Accounting Clerk, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process and reconcile cash transactions, including bank deposits and credit card payments.
  • Prepare and maintain financial reports, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Assist with payroll processing and ensure timely payment of employee wages.
  • Perform general accounting duties, including journal entries and reconciliations.
  • Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Post-secondary education in Accounting or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in accounting, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel and other accounting software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
